I have to admit, I'm a text fan. I can search text. I can quickly scan it.
So podcasts, instructional videos, and the like have had doubious value to me.
But here are some podcasts I'm actually excited to listen to: Howard Van Rooijen's interviews of Ken Schwaber (on Scrum).
What I like about these podcasts is the FAQ format Howard has chosen to use. What I'd like more is if each question and answer was separately accessible. And if there was a pointer to a wiki where volunteers could help create transcriptions and get this stuff back into text.
By combining a few formats and tools, we might get the best of all worlds: A format (phone interview) that makes it easy for an expert/author to contribute content. And then some connected tools to help the content escape the limitations of a big, unwieldy, unsearchable blob of audio.
A random mix of stuff that doesn't fit elsewhere ...

Hey Bernie,
Way ahead of you! I have already transcribed the podcast (~5000 words) as HTML and it forms part of the documentation for the "Agile Software Development with Scrum" for Team System package. Send an email to betascrum@conchango.com and I'll add you to the beta test group - so you can get your hands on the document.
Thanks for being excited about the podcasts and thanks for the great feedback and ideas.
Howard van Rooijen
